Kimia Amini is an Iranian born, London based painter and ceramicist.

Within her works, Amini depicts modern day mythologies of the human experience. Inspired by fairy tales, folklore and storytelling, through her own devised symbology, Amini explores a narrative based on her experiences as well as the subconscious realm of dreams. Fascinated by the timeless tales of human nature, her work lends to the archetypal, illustrating this fascination in an illustrative  and magical style, which often incorporate elements relating to alchemy and the occult.
